I don't play GTA Online every day anymore; some of the edge is wearing off.

Caught up with all the Mass Effect Andromeda trailers. I see nothing crazy compelling, it seems far more of an action game than an RPG, as the previous trilogy increasingly leaned toward. I will also need the best video card my machine can handle, or maybe even a new machine.

One of my favorite game, book, podcast, etc. recommenders (Paul) praised Hotline Miami, so I elevated it on my list. I've been hearing good things, so it was already on my wishlist (Steam), but today its on sale. So is the second game, and the soundtrack, which I've also heard highly praised as a big part of why the game is good. $40 of high potential goodness for $7.48.
Something about the retro graphics and craziness reminds me of Postal.

I don't follow game news, and I don't often go on YouTube, so I was surprised to find The Last of Us not only has a sequel coming up, but the trailer came out 3 months ago. One of the best games I've never played, but only watched. Am I going to have to watch the sequel too?
I'm not really into YouTube celebrities or communities, but I did enjoy watching it through the eyes of FBE Teens React. It was nice to see them watch the trailer, and commit to playing the next one.
I'm trying to imagine a PlayStation in my house.

Yesterday I felt the gentle tug of the RPG, like a black hole that I think I am just passing by. I find myself thinking of Mass Effect and Fallout New Vegas more and more recently, and I know it won't be much longer now. I just really want to make it through the summer first, there's a lot that needs doing while the weather is favorable. But even during the summer there will be hot afternoons where it is not practical to go outside.

On a random walk through reddit and youtube, I find the "React: Gaming" series on "The Last of Us: Left Behind".
Only 4 parts, but that was quite good.

Steam sale, purchase Bastion. Only a few dollars more for the soundtrack; easier to just take it now and see if its worth it later.

Notified that something on my wishlist at GOG is on sale. It's Loom, for $1.99. And Leisure Suit Larry is on sale for $1.99 as well. Two games I missed when they were current, I'll take them now, and get to them later.

Free game on Steam, Layers of Fear. I can't just add it to my wishlist, I have to install it? OK, click Install Now, it is now 'registered to your account on Steam', click to install, skip it.

Got a message from IsThereAnyDeal, StarCraft II: Campaign Collection on sale for $19.99 (from $39.99). I've been waiting a long time to finish this campaign, now I have the excuse. Another $5 off because I have Heroes of the Swarm, thanks Blizzard.

So much for Starcraft, there's a new DLC coming out in GTA Online (Nightclub) so that takes precedent.
Last chance to get in on a big Steam sale, and knock a few things off the wishlist: The Room, Cossacks: Back to War, The Blackwell Legacy, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, Dex with Soundtrack (this is why I check each one individually before purchase, Dex is $1.99, but w/ soundtrack its only $2.11 so why not), Her Story, FTL: Faster Than Light + Soundtrack, Dishonored, Defense Grid: The Awakening, SpaceChem, Mount and Blade, and that should be enough for now.
